No new COVID-19 deaths in Kenya as cases rises to 36,829

The number of deaths in Kenya due to the COVID-19 pandemic remained 646 for the second day, the Health ministry announced on Saturday saying no patients were reported dead in the last 24 hours.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe in a statement announced 105 new infections, which raised the total number of confirmed cases to 36,829.

CS Kagwe also announced that 30 more patients had recovered, raising the country’s total number of recovered patients to 23,777.

The ministry said the number of new male patients was 83 and the number of new female patients 22.
