Namibia records 95 new COVID-19 cases, seven recoveries and one death

Namibia’s Ministry of Health on Saturday evening announced 95 new COVID-19 positive cases, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 2,224.

The Ministry also announced seven recoveries, this brings the total number of those who have recovered from the virus to 171.

The death toll currently stands at 11 after one more patient succumbed to the illness.

Out of these positive cases, 42 are from Walvis Bay, 17 are from Swakopmund, six from Okahandja, one from Oshakati and 29 are from Windhoek.

So far, 26 344 samples have been tested. Currently, 1 662 are in quarantine.
