Emirates’ first flight to Durban since the lockdown has landed. Flight EK-775 touched down at King Shaka International Airport on Thursday afternoon.

On Sunday, Dubai-based Emirates cancelled its resumption of flights to the city due to the government’s COVID-19 travel regulations.

It said these were confusing, especially the requirement for international airline crews to have PCR tests before flying to SA.

After discussions, the confusion has been cleared up.
