Relations between China and Africa are continuously growing, hitting new heights with each passing year.

China has poured billions of dollars in Africa, in sectors including mining, infrastructure, service delivery, healthcare, education, conflict management and many more.

Notably, one of China’s largest projects is the Belt and Road initiative, which is seen as a key aspect in the quest to industrialize Africa.

This involves building a reliable transport network that will ease the movement of people and goods across the continent and beyond.

For a deeper analysis of this, CGTN’s Thuli Tshabalala spoke to Professor Peter Kagwanja from the Africa Policy Institute, on China’s most ambitious collaborative enterprise.
