Ugandans tweet their way into Trevor Noah’s heart, promises to visit
Ugandans on Twitter have tweeted their way into having one of the world’s funniest men to visit the country.
Under the hashtag #TrevorNoahVisitsUganda, the Ugandans took to the social media platform to launch a strong campaign to have South African Trevor Noah visit the East African country soon.
It wasn’t long before the tweets grabbed the attention of the comedian, though his response initially was disappointing to the Ugandans.
This is a scam, I'm not coming to Uganda. https://t.co/fAh8EUdtO7

Trevor refuted the claims that he would visit Uganda, saying the rumour was just a scam.
The relentless Ugandans however didn’t give up just yet. They kept their campaign alive and much stronger.
It must have been their relentless campaign even after the initial rejection that got the celebrated comedian to have a change of heart.
Through his twitter handle, Trevor revealed that he would try to visit the country.
OK Uganda, you win. I'll try to visit sometime. But when I land, I want the original Rolex made by Sula in Wandegeya #TrevorNoahVisitsUganda

The South African has seen his fortunes rise incredibly since moving to New York, and was in the news earlier this month for purchasing a $10 million house in Manhattan.
Ugandans can now sit pretty and wait for the comedy giant to land in the country.
Here are some of the tweets that got Trevor to consider visiting Uganda;
