Ugandan women rescued from Malaysia
Three Ugandan women who have been rescued from sex slavery in Malaysia are expected to arrive in the country later today.
Reports say the return of the three women has been facilitated with the help of the Ugandan embassy in Malaysia.
According to the the New Vision, the women were victims of physical and mental torture and say that that there are more women trapped and living in bad conditions not only in Malaysia but in many other countries where they are being held captive.
They say they are forced to live in those conditions for fear of witch-hunt by their recruiters.
The New Vison of Uganda says that Embassy officials in Kuala Lampur are working together with security agents in Malaysia to save the other victims of sex slavery.
There are many women who are tricked into traveling into different Asian countries with promises of finding jobs only to find themselves in the dirty trade.
