Uganda Politics: Presence of security forces spark chaos in Ugandan parliament

Chaos broke out in parliament after the government failed to explain the presence of security forces within parliament buildings.

The speaker was forced to adjourn proceedings on presidential age limit to a later date, after opposition members disrupted the session.

As CGTN‘s Isabel Nakirya reports from Kampala – opposition members were complaining at what they described as a siege situation on parliament, which is deemed constitutionally as independent.
