Young people in Africa complain that making a living this days is such a challenge, they say its hard to get jobs and with endless trips to offices to drop their CV’s with no positive signs of a call back just complicates matters for them.

But  One 35 year old Steve Kumari in Nairobi Kenya is past the unemployment mark, he has created a job for himself and his fellow youth who have a passion for hair with attention to Dreadlocks.

Steve started the Roots Salon years ago but he has become a household name with many natural hair fanatics especially those keeping Dreadlocks.

CCTV’s Claire Munyana who also spots dreadlocks visited  his busy salon along Moi Avenue in Nairobi’s central business district and filed this report.
