Leaders from the world’s biggest emerging markets are in Johannesburg this week, for the 10th BRICS annual summit.

Top on their agendas are issues of inclusive growth, and shared prosperity with the African continent.

So as the bloc heads into the second 10-year since its formation, or as Chinese President Xi Jinping puts it, “the golden decade”, what will define its development priorities?
