
Sudan’s COVID-19 cases reach 17

Sudan has two new COVID-19 infections, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 17, official SUNA news agency reported on Saturday.
The two new cases include a Sudanese man in his 50s, who returned from Thailand through the United Arab Emirates on March 21, and the other Sudanese man in his 60s who has a history of contact with infected patients.
Sudan announced its first case of coronavirus on April 5.
