It has been a big day for the African Union Commission.

It has been hosting South Korea’s President, Park Geun-hye. She was there as part of a 3-nation Africa tour.

South Korea is committed to sharing with Africa its cumulative experiences, knowledge and mind-set to build a collaborative partnership for mutual growth and prosperity, President Park Geun-hye said in her address at the AU Headquarters in Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa.

“Today, I would like to present a new initiative called the ‘Blueprint for Comprehensive Cooperation with Africa’ and share with you what Korea aspires to do together with Africa in its journey towards realizing Agenda 2063,” said the president.

The new initiative covers various areas of South Korea’s collaboration with Africa as the continent endeavors to realize Agenda 2063.
