South Africa’s Nooitgedacht School raising young generation of judokas

The shanty-towns of Diepsloot, Isoteng and Thabo Mbeki Village – home to some of South Africa’s poorest families.

Children from here – attend Nooitgedacht Primary school – where a special Judo project is aimed at improving their lives.

For many of these kids – Judo offers an escape from their daily circumstances.
This year, twelve of them will represent their school and province at the South African National Judo Championships.
