This year’s “Sheroes” conference in Accra brought together women from across the continent. Many have battled sexism to become leaders in politics, business and civil society.

But they say women still dont have enough of a say in how countries are run.

And that means calling on leaders to stand by recent pledges made at the United Nations about promoting gender equality.
