Hand washing is one the most effective ways of preventing infections and the spread of disease. However clean water and soap is not always accessible especially to people who live in outlying areas.

In this installment of our Africa’s Big Ideas series, we focus on two South African entrepreneurs who are trying to change this, using technology. They’ve come up with a fully automatic, portable mobile hand washer.
