Russia claims to identify terror groups behind plane crash in Egypt

Read < 1 minute

The head of Russia’s Federal Security Service says, Russia has identified groups behind the explosion of a Russian plane in Egypt that killed 224 passengers.

According to an analysis by Russian specialists, a homemade bomb containing up to 1 kilogram of TNT detonated during the flight.

Egypt however insists there is no terror link to the October crash.

It will also not comment otherwise, until findings of the investigation committee are officially out.

Until the November meeting at the Kremlin, Russia had played down assertions from Western countries that the crash was a terrorist incident.

Now Egypt insists it has no idea what the Russians are talking about.
