Protests in Ghana over Rise in Cost Of Living

A civil society group in Ghana has had enough of the rising cost of living. Concerned Ghanaians for Responsible Governance has delivered a petition to President John Dramani Mahama’s chief of staff. The group led hundreds of protesters through the capital, Accra, demanding a resolution to the ongoing currency crisis. They were also demonstrating against power cuts, poor roads, and rising unemployment.
