The Indian Ocean island of Madagascar is known for its beautiful forests and is home to a large number of animal species that can be found nowhere else on earth. But, through a pursuit for development, much of the country has suffered severe environmental damage. CCTV’s Maria Galang spent some time with some of the people on the island charged with safeguarding the survival of the island’s natural wonders.
