Pakistan clinched the three-game ODI series against Zimbabwe after defeating the visitors by six wickets on Sunday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan holds an unassailable 2-0 lead after they won the first ODI by 26 runs on Friday.

Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first. That decision, however, ended up being the wrong one as they ended up being restricted to a total of just 206 in 45.1 overs despite the best efforts of Sean Williams who managed 75 runs off 70 balls.

Iftikhar Ahmed did the damage to the visitors as he took five wickets for 40 runs in 10 overs, a career-best haul for the veteran all-rounder.

Pakistan, under the leadership of Babar Azam, who finished with an unbeaten 77,then chased down their target with ease to claim the victory.

The two sides will meet again for the third and final ODI at the same venue on Tuesday.
