Nigeria’s Senate started vetting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministerial nominees on Monday.

The screening comes days after President Tinubu presented a list of 28 nominees to take up roles in his cabinet.

Former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, former Ebonyi State governor, David Umahi, and presidential spokesman Dele Alake are being considered for cabinet positions.

Several women are also included among Tinubu’s cabinet nominees.
