The Nigerian Military it has recovered an SUV full of Improvised Explosives Devises and other weapons during a cordon and search operations after  suicide bombing attacks on Zabamari  Muna near Maiduguri.

The attacks happened on Thursday and Friday and military spokesman Major General Chris Olukolade says troops in hot pursuit of the insurgents  succeeded in destroying some of their vehicles.

A total of six suicide bombers had blown themselves  up around a garage killing scores of people and injuring others.

Military authorities have now confirmed  soldier also died in the attack.

Olukolade said Military Explosives Ordinance experts backed by Police Bomb Disposal Units are conducting vigorous search for any bombs that might have been hidden or left unexploited in the area.
