Nearly 3000 African nationals repatriated from South Africa

Nearly 3000 people have been repatriated to their home countries like Malawi and Mozambique, following xenophobic violence in three of South Africa’s nine provinces in the past few weeks. The country has established a Task Team to deal with the aftermath of attacks. At least 7 people were killed and over 1,000 people displaced in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and the North West Province
