Multiple Blasts Rock Northeastern Nigeria

At least 17 people were killed in three blasts across the city of Damaturu in northeastern Nigerian on Wednesday by unidentified bombers according to the state

According to the National Emergency Management Agency the three dawn explosions went off in a small food store, a mosque and a settlement outside the city.

In another incident, Boko Haram militia attacked a military base in northeastern Yobe State, 100 of the insurgents were killed in the failed attack leaving seven soldiers dead and nine injures.
