Mpeketoni Residents are Starting from Scratch after Devastating Attacks Last Year
Last June, around 100 people were killed in attacks in and around the town of Mpeketoni, Kenya. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility, recently releasing a video that purports to show militants carrying out the atrocities. Still living under curfew, locals are working hard to rebuild their lives and maintain unity in the face of terror. CCTV’s Clementine Logan went to find out more.
