Former welterweight world champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has confirmed that he will be in Ghana in June reports Citi FM.

Mayweather, one of most popular athletes in the world, announced earlier in the year that he would be in Africa on a tour without naming his various destinations. He recently posted a video indicating that his stop in Ghana will be on the 15th and 16th of June.

Mayweather won all career fights before quitting the sport two years ago with a 49-0 record. He was a five-division world champion and he also competed in the 1996 Olympic Games. He now runs his own boxing promotion imprint, Mayweather Promotions.
