A businessman based in the capital city of Kenya had published a full page advert letter addressed to the President in protest of alleged police illegal eviction published in local newspaper on Friday.

Mr. Mukhtar Ahmed is seeking President Uhuru Kenyatta’s intervention from alleged abuse by the police. Ahmed is accusing the Administration Police (AP) for raiding his shop in Nairobi’s central business centre three times since Saturday.

The Business man claims that at least electronic goods worth 20 million Kenyan shillings were taken from his shop by the AP accompanied by 30 men. He further claims that the police returned on Sunday to remove all the doors of his shop and returned Monday to evict him on Monday.

National Police Service spokesman George Kinoti on Wednesday said the police have launched investigations into the businessman’s complaints.
