Kenya unveils memorial to victims of torture in Mau Mau era
The British government has unveiled a new memorial in Nairobi to commemorate Kenya’s Mau Mau struggle for independence. The Mau Mau rebellion was a fight for liberty during the Colonial Era – and for the first time, London has acknowledged the part it played in the killing of thousands.
