Kenya’s president Uhuru Kenyatta has urged the country to support the new rail track linking the capital Nairobi to East Africa’s busiest port, Mombasa.
He says the Standard Gauge Railway will help transform Kenya’s economy.
Kenyatta visited construction works south east of Nairobi this weekend, to check on the SGR’s progress.
