International Pledge to Support Nigeria

In a bid to mitigate the effects of the Boko Haram militant group in the West African region, ministers from Nigeria, Chad, Benin, Niger and Cameroon have agreed to form a regional intelligence unit. They will also run multi-national patrols along the porous borders to stop the group. Despite international pledges for assistance to track over 200 schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram, their whereabouts remain unclear. CCTV’s Susan Mwongeli reports.
