Hundreds of South Sudanese return home

Read < 1 minute

South Sudanese diaspora have been returning home in large numbers since the country got its independence in July 2011. At least 800 returnees arrived in Juba from Sudan last week after being stranded at the closed Sudan-South Sudan border for weeks. A coalition of humanitarian agencies is working together with the government of South Sudan to resettle the returnees in any location of their choice within the republic.

David Lomuria will be following these returnees to their final destination and compiling a report for CCTV Africa.
