Gold mining in Zimbabwe expected to rise

Read < 1 minute

Gold output in Zimbabwe is expected to rise to 18.4 tonnes this year.

That’s the highest level in 11 years, owing to higher production from small-scale miners. Its no cause to celebrate yet though as in 2004, the country’s output was higher, at 21.3 tonnes.
