The number of people infected with the novel coronavirus in Ghana had increased to 6,683, with 66 more cases confirmed, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) said in its latest update.

The data posted on the GHS COVID-19 portal said the recovered cases had also increased by 20, bringing the number of recovery cases to 1,998.

The GHS said the number of death cases in the West African country had increased to 32.

Ghana’s social distancing measures are still in place to minimize and bring to an end the community spread of the pandemic.
