Former Nigerian president Obasanjo on FOCAC

The landmark Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, FOCAC Summit begins on December 4th to the 5th in Johannesburg, South Africa.

President Xi Jinping and his counterpart Jacob Zuma will co-chair the summit on Friday and Saturday.

African Heads of State and Government, representatives from the African Union and other key stakeholders will  also participate in the summit which will be held under the theme Africa-China Progressing Together: Win-Win Cooperation for Common Development.

Sino-Africa bilateral ties will be high on the agenda as both sides strengthen partnership in key developmental areas.
