An art exhibition dubbed ‘Beyond the sea’ which seeks to promote cultural exchanges between China and Mauritius has taken place at the China Cultural Center in Mauritius.

The group exhibition featured works from both Mauritian and Chinese artists where there were a total of 80 pieces, some with Chinese and Mauritian themes.

The exhibition in which about 300 people took part has been hailed as successful in promoting cultural values.
