The Ministry of education in Egypt is investigating the death of a  schoolboy who i said  to have died after being severly beaten by his school teacher.

According to a statement by the ministry, the boy who was 12 years of age died on Sunday after being beaten by his teacher the previous day

The statement said that  an  “urgent inquiry” had been launched into the circumstances of the boy’s death and the teacher had also been suspended by the school.

The boy was reportedly beaten for failing to do his homework.

Doctors stated that the boy suffered a brain hemorrhage.
