Ebola Outbreak in West Africa Becomes a Challenge

The current Ebola outbreak in West Africa is expected to continue for the next few months.

According to the World Health Organization, the outbreak in that region is one of the most challenging they have ever seen. To date, there have been 157 suspected and confirmed cases in Guinea, and 101 deaths. In Liberia, there are 21 cases, with 10 deaths so far. West African countries are stepping up surveillance with Senegal being the latest country to close its border with Guinea. CCTV’s Susan Mwongeli reports.
