World leaders, including ones from the nations hit hardest by Ebola, are gathering at the General Assembly in New York to discuss how to combat the deadly virus, which has infected more than 5,500 people and killed more than 2,500 since March, according to the latest numbers from the World Health Organization. The World Health Organisation has warned that up to 20,000 people could be infected with Ebola over the next few weeks.
