Dubai to build a “Museum of the future”

Dubai announced a plan to build a “Museum of the future” to showcase innovation and solutions to challenges facing cities of the coming decades. The building is estimated to cost $ 136 million and is set to open in 2017.

Dubai’s rule, Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid said in his twitter account, “Museum of the Future is integrated environment empowering creative minds to test, fund and market ideas for futuristic prototypes & services”. He also says that the Museum of the Future is a first step of many to come, marking the beginning of great achievements.

The $ 136 million museum will be built near the world’s tallest man- made structure, Burj Khalifa. The museum of the future will be an incubator of ideas and real designs.  During the launching of the Museum, Sheik said quote and quotes, “The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. Here in the UAE we think differently. While others try to predict the future, we create it.”
