COVID-19 active cases in Ghana drop to under 900

Ghana’s COVID-19 active cases have significantly dropped to 856 with only 55 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

The Ghana Health Service in an update on Thursday, September 3, said the country’s cumulative cases stood at 44,713.

It added that 43,577 people have recovered from the disease and been discharged from hospitals.

The death toll stands at 280.
