Tunisian Prime Minister-designate Habib Jemli said on Tuesday that the consultations on the formation of the government are going well.

Jemli said in a statement to the private radio station Shems FM that the new government will include young people and women.

“The consultations are progressing well on the political level and on the level of setting up the main lines of the economic and social program,” he added.

On Nov. 15, Tunisian President Kais Saied officially tasked Jemli with forming the new government.

Jemli was the candidate of Tunisia’s Islamist party Ennahdha, which won the parliamentary election on Oct. 6.

The future prime minister should form his government within a period not exceeding one month, according to the constitution.
