Conservationists warn that drilling oil will hurt Uganda

There are fears that Uganda’s ongoing oil and gas exploration and extraction activities could be jeopardizing the country’s pristine wildlife sanctuaries. Conservationists are worried about climate and environmental changes arising from oil exploration and development. These concerns come after significant oil and natural gas reserves were found in the western part of the country.
