Congo’s new Airline Begins Commercial Flights
Democratic Republic of Congo’s new national airline today made its first commercial flight from Kinshasa to Lubumbashi following its launch on October 9th this year.
Congo airline comes after 12 years of closure of national airlines due to financial difficulties.
Congo internal airport is dominated by private airlines that have been blacklisted by the European Union meaning they can’t make flights to Europe while the other airline are used by the United Nations for its humanitarian use.
