Condom Shortage in Uganda: Gov’t Reports Rise in HIV Infections

A condom shortage and complacency could be contributing to a rise in HIV infections in Uganda. The United Nations previously recognised the country for reversing the spread of the virus since the 90s. But a 2013 government report has shown an increase in cases. As the world marks International Condom day, CCTV’s Hillary Ayesiga visits a a fishing community in Central Uganda, where condoms are being reused.
