China teams up with South Africa to build $800 million car plant

South Africa’s automotive sector has received another boost.

The country’s reputation for advanced and efficient motor manufacturing capabilities has attracted investment from China. The Beijing Automotive International Company is partnering with South Africa’s Industrial Development Corporation to build an 8-hundred million-dollar car plant.
