China grants full scholarships to 100 Kenyan students

More than one hundred Kenyan students will be heading to China next week on full scholarships.

They will be studying for PhDs, Masters and undergraduate degrees in various disciplines. The recipients are among over 200 beneficiaries this year.

That’s in addition to the five hundred training opportunities China has made available for students and professionals.

The Chinese government has been offering scholarships to Kenya since 1982 and recently doubled its quota.
