The charity foundation of Cape Grand China has donated money for a scholarship to a local school in South Africa. The Alexander Sinton High School also received food parcels.

The donation has been warmly welcomed by staff and students. It was handed over by a Chinese delegation from the Consulate General in Cape Town, and the Consul General himself emphasised the importance of education. The scholarship amounts to around $3,000 a year, over the next three years.
