Burundi Crisis: President Says Third Term Would Be His Last
Irate protesters burned a man alive in Burundi’s capital on Thursday claiming that he was a member of the ruling party’s youth wing which had attacked them during their demonstrations. Burundi’s President says that if he is re-elected in June for a controversial third term, he will not run for office again. Violent protests have left at least a dozen people reported dead and driven thousands out of the country. Clementine Logan has more.
