There seems to be some confusion over Christmas festivities.

Authorities and Muslim Scholars in the capital Mogadishu have differed on a recent ban on the celebrations in the country.

The Mayor and the Religious ministry are pulling in different directions with the former ordering an immediate, total ban and the latter insisting that foreigners in the country have a right to celebrate the holidays.
