AU BRANDS CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC MILITIA AS “TERRORISTS”
The African Union has branded the Anti-Balaka militia that is targeting Muslims in the Central African Republic as “terrorists and enemy combatants”. These sentiments comes after intense fighting broke out recently in the country in which 18 people were killed, amongst them a Congolese peacekeeper. Pressure is also mounting on the UN to send more peacekeepers to the region to assist the troops on the ground who are currently out numbered.
