The 8th Algiers International Cartoon Festival held in Algeria attracted artists from 30 countries who are showcasing their art.

Cartoonists from 32 countries have gathered in Algiers for the 8th Edition of the Esplanade de Riyadh-El-Fith. This years guest of honor country is the Republic of South Korea with cartoon strips from various Asian artists gaining popularity with Algerians.

An exhibit is also dedicated to the ”Afrique en partage ‘collective” featuring cartoons by five talented cartoonists from sub-Saharan Africa. The festival runs until October 10th. CCTV’s Maria Galang reports
