Angola launches largest ranger school
Angola at the weekend opened its largest ever school for rangers.
The country’s aiming to boost its capacity to protect its wildlife.
UNEP Executive Director Achim Steiner was there for the opening ceremony.
New recruits and trained rangers paraded for the officials. The new school can be found on the outskirts of Menongue. It’s in the south-east of the country. The school can train up to 500 rangers at a time.
